Progress made today: Spent all morning scrubbing the motor in the parts washer.
Got the motor ready to install. S3 400 clutch installed to prevent slippage. Lucky I got the primary gear too as you gotta have it when installing a 400 clutch pack in a 350 motor. The 350 gear is too thick and will rub the clutch hub.
Cleaned up my S2A carbs just to have for spares since a set of S3 carbs are winging thier way to the House of Haase for an ultrasonic clean prior to install,courtesy a fine deal and many thanks to John Aylor.
The RH side of the motor ,mocked up for photo op. The oil pump and lines are ready to put in. I managed to come up with all the bolts,, a mix of phillips and allen heads for now until I can order a allen head kit from a Fellow Board member:
The LH side, done, the points will be replaced by a Boyer Brandsen which just arived at The Blingmaster's:
Next I prepped the chambers, which mostly involved burning off the baffles. I had some pretty good flames going
Here's where the motor and goodies are gonna end up a week from today in Rock Hill at the House of Haase;
It ought to be pretty sporty with the 400 carbs and chambers running stock gearing and the Boyer Brandsen...
