Kawasaki H1 500 Reed kits by Gem

I saw your pictures of GEM reed kits for H1 500 and I was amazed to see that they are identical to mine. I actually thought they were one of a kind. The reeds was fitted to a 74 H1 that I bought five years ago. In addition to the reeds the bike had Denco chambers, holed piston skirts, and some cylinder porting that looked like a mild Denco spec. Since then I have bored the cylinders, fitted new Wiseco pistons, and added some booster ports in the back of the cylinder. Its a crude job but it works. Do you know anything about the history of these reeds? I have attached some pictures that might be of interest.

Best regards
